Getting Started: Video Introduction to Online Resources
The College of Business, the Department of English and the ISU Writing Program will present a three-day writing workshop, July 11th – July 13th. This intensive workshop will focus on a range of skills and knowledge related to writing in business environments. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and improve their writing skills in one-on-one and small-group sessions with College of Business faculty and Writing Program specialists. Participants will be encouraged to assess their areas of writing expertise, and to develop strategies for working in unfamiliar writing situations. Key writing skills will include:
Participants will gain greater understanding of how to write successfully in both school and workplace business settings. Participants will receive a certificate and will be able to list the workshop on their resumes, marking the extra care and attention that each participant is willing to give to gaining excellence in communication skills.
