Today was mostly a wrap-up day in class! We went over a few tenants of revision – the difference between looking at revising the paper as a whole versus going section-by-section, the difference between revision and editing/proofreading, and the importance of (at the very least) reading your paper aloud to yourself before turning it in. We then took an exit survey of questions that Hannah asks at the end of every semester, and then students completed the course evaluations. (Section 16 also completed their mini-grant project of Jenga blocks today!) Final GWRJ drafts are due Monday, Dec. 4, and next week will be full of assessment. Attendance is mandatory next week!
