Wednesday Nov 8 and Monday Nov 13

Today we talked about rhetoric, privilege, plagiarism, and how to do ethical research when advocating for some form of social change. We went through a brief history of rhetoric, related the importance of rhetoric to social activities and social needs through the privilege walk questions which we answered anonymously to avoid calling anyone out. Then I made an argument for why being rhetorically aware of social situations is important when advocating for social change. Next we moved on to what I call part two of ethical research and talked about how not to plagiarize. We went to and looked at some of the resources available there to help us properly cite.
